Advancing Parenting is a small nonprofit organization pioneering a new kind of parenting education...one that reaches everyone, everywhere, all the time. We place fifty-one concise and unambiguous parenting tips/advice in public spaces, including but not limited to windows of stores, offices, restaurants, automobiles, and billboards. This, in an effort to elevate the quality of parenting, prevent adverse childhood experiences (ACES), and improve educational outcomes for children.
Everyone gets the opportunity to be a parenting educator!
Below are a few examples. We began with tips/advice on bumpers and windows because it was the least expensive way to get things rolling. Turns out they're wonderfully effective, and a way for individuals and businesses to participate. Tips on vehicles will be read thousands of times by thousands of different people of all ages for years to come. Many more examples of our work on Pinterest.

What the Future Holds
Advancing Parenting will
1) partner with the Advertising Council and employ increasingly impactful media to display the fifty-one parenting tips/advice. For example...school age spokespersons and families presenting the tips on billboards and semi trailers). Three in ten trailers have no graphics. This is because they are owned by leasing companies or owner operators who have no service or product to advertise. Advancing Parenting will partner with the manufacturers so that these trailers roll off the assembly line with tips on both sides. Imagine the impact of tens of thousands of these giant rolling billboards crisscrossing the U.S. day in and day out 365 days a year.
2) expand geographically until Advancing Parenting's activities are a permanent national phenomenon.
This will take millions of dollars, but the return on investment and reduction in human suffering will be well worth it.
Advancing Parenting...we take parenting education off bookshelves and put it in public where it belongs.
